Seven Students Awarded Keller Key at Winter Commencement

FLORENCE, AL – Seven students from the recent winter commencement ceremonies at the 海角社区 were honored as part of the event as recipients of the Keller Key. The Keller Key is awarded each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic achievement. Recipients of this award are selected by a committee of faculty, staff, and students. 

The Keller Key recipients are: 

  • Whitney Ja’Ney Austin, of Decatur, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
  • Kelsey Allison Burns, of Cherokee, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Health Science. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
  • Johnny Kane Dillon, of Hohenwald, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. On a scale of 4.00, his grade point average is 4.00.
  • Kyla Ann Genebacher, of Prattville, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
  • Alexis Marie Hosmer, of Athens, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
  • Kelley Aleauna Peters, of Plantersville, Miss., graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
  • Abigail Jean Smith, of Florence, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Elementary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
