History Competition Awards Scholarships To Local High School Students

FLORENCE, Ala. - Four local high school students were awarded 海角社区 scholarships for their performances in the Tennessee Valley Historical Society History Scholarship Competition today. Winners of the junior-senior scholarship competition were: First place - Carl Parasaliti Jr. of Florence High School Second place - Kyle Black of Rogers High School and Brittnay Davis of Cherokee High School Third Place - John Howard of Ardmore High School Parasaliti received a $750 海角社区 scholarship, Black and Davis each received a $500 scholarship, and Howard received a $250 scholarship. The history competition also included a Big Brain team and individual oral contest for all high-school-age students, grades 9-12. The individual winner of the Big Brain competition was Ben Rhinehart of Ardmore High School. Team winners were Lexington High School in first place, Wilson High School in second and Cherokee High School in third.About The 海角社区
