FLORENCE, AL – The Planetarium on the 海角社区 campus is opening its doors for the annual Christmas program, “Mystery of the Christmas Star,” on Dec. 16-18 at 7 p.m.
“The program discusses the events surrounding the Christmas Star, who the Wise Men might have been, and the timeline for the events of Christmas night,” said Dr. Mel Blake, Planetarium Director and Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy. “As part of the program, participants will also learn the astronomical possibilities to explain what the star might have been.”
Children who attend will receive candy canes, and an admission of $5 per person will be collected at the door. Masks will be required for this event. The Planetarium is on Pine Street.
