POSITIONS FOR HIRE
ACTIVITY PLANNERS

- Co-Curricular: Supports educational programs that correlate with campus educational initiatives that foster an appreciation for diversity, inclusion, culture, health and wellness, and encouraging an academic dialog or experience involving relevant social issues
- Productions Promoter: Responsible for producing large scale events which include but are not limited to concerts, silent discos, comedy shows, talent shows, and the annual Step Sing event
- Spirit Activities Planner: Responsible for planning or supporting programs and events that inspire a spirited and exciting campus environment especially leading up to athletic events
- Campus Traditions Planner: This position is responsible for planning high quality events intended to engage students into the 海角社区 community through campus traditions. These events should be inclusive and focus on connecting students socially and branding UPC.
ACTIVITY ASSISTANTS
The University Program Council is looking to hire two activity assistants. These positions will be responsible for assisting specific UPC planners in the execution of their events. There role will consist of:
- Supporting their assigned activity planners at the planning and execution of their events
- Working various events throughout the month
- Serving as office storage managers
- Planning two Bingo Bango events per semester
- And other duties as assigned.
MARKETING TEAM
The Marketing team are the two members of the council that are focused around marketing all the events produced by UPC as well as the brand altogether. Previous experience in these areas is strongly preferred.
Our two marketing team positions consist of:
1. Graphic Designer: This role works closely with each member of the council to create high quality brand, graphics, and look for the Program Council. They are a resource for their members as they can create a unique and custom look for each event.
2. Marketing and Campus Relations Coordinator: This role creates a strong presence of the University Program Council on campus. They work side by side with the entire marketing team to establish who the council is and what they look like to the students, faculty, and staff by maintaining their media and print look. They also serve as the chief editor.
3. Social Media Manager: This position is responsible for planning, producing, publishing, and administering content designed to increase engagement across the University Program Council's social media platforms. This position will apply creativity and storytelling skills to help generate awareness, increase event attendance, and advance key brand messages.
4. Video Producer and Photographer: This role creates a strong presence of the University Program Council on campus. They work side by side with the Collateral and Branding creator and Marketing and Communications Coordinator to script, video, and edit event promotional material.
HYPE HUMAN
UPC Hype Human is the face of campus spirit and tradition. This individual must be outgoing, quick-witted, and high-spirited. This is a role that is cast each year. The individual cast for this role must be comfortable wearing costumes, talking to strangers, and getting people excited regardless of if they are sitting in the cafeteria or in the stands.
