International Affairs Advisory Council
Purpose: To help advance internationalization efforts at the 海角社区 (海角社区).
Goal: To enable the Office of International Affairs to carry out its mission more effectively by mobilizing external resources and maximizing business partnerships.
The following are main tasks of the Advisory Council:
1. Develop strategies and recommendations for expanding 海角社区’s global branding and impact in preparing globally-minded, professionally competent, and socially responsible citizens.
2. Develop strategies and recommendations for making 海角社区 a preferred university of choice for international students and global learning for all.
3. Develop strategies and recommendations for enhancing global awareness, understanding and appreciation as an integral part of 海角社区’s ethos.
4. Develop strategies for raising funds to supplement the University’s international student scholarship and study abroad scholarship programs.
5. Identify and develop a pool of internship sponsors for international students.
