Students must order an OFFICIAL transcript to apply for ISEP Exchange programs.

Head to 海角社区’s website and search “Transcripts” or click HERE to go directly to the page.

Click “Order a Transcript.”

Make sure to order the electronic transcript and send it to YOUR personal email. This will allow you to download it and then upload it into the ISEP Application Portal.

Pay the fee and follow any other listed directions.
*Note: You cannot process/receive your transcript if you have a financial and/or administrative hold on your record.*

Studying abroad exposes you to new cultures, enhances your language skills, and can give you a global perspective that’s appealing.
Start by considering your academic goals and interests. Think about what you want your experience to look like.
Short-Term: $2k-$5k (depends on location, how long the trip is, etc.)
Long-Term: Costs about the same as a semester at 海角社区!
Students studying for 4 years can take advantage of a semester ISEP program. Students interested in this option must reach out to ISS to determine a plan of action and if the student's goals are achievable. Email oiaservices@una.edu for more information.
Graduate students cannot apply for ISEP, but faculty-led trips allow graduate students. Course credits may vary.
Yes, however, the process is different depending on your benefits. Meet with your VA Advisor to learn about your options for applying to go abroad.

Pack light and versatile! Consider the weather and the cultural norms. Don’t forget items like a plug adapter, a good backpack, and any medications. Make sure to leave some space for souvenirs!
- An adapter changes the shape of the plug to fit the outlet, while a converter changes the voltage of the outlet to match the device (Adapters vs. Converters)
- Straighteners and other tools must be dual voltage unless you have a converter.
- RFID protected items (wallets, passports, bags, etc)

- E-Sims can be purchased for varying lengths of time and data amounts. They are easy to use and require no physical card. Check with your service provider to ensure your phone is unlocked or get a temporary unlock period for traveling abroad. Phone plans can be purchased for longer stays abroad. Every country is different. Consider bringing an old phone if you want to use their SIM card.
